What am I covered for?

Structural defects in your bed frame, divan, or mattress following the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty and up to 96 months from the delivery date:

  • Defects such as breakage or warping;
  • Cracking of solid wood components;
  • Broken zips, castors, and glides;
  • Tufts and draw runners;
  • Bending or breakage of metal components;
  • Separation of seams and stitching;
  • Fraying of fabric;
  • Failure of motors;
  • Integral massage units;
  • Pistons, and associated mechanisms;
  • Excessive loss of resilience or shape.

Structural defects in your cabinet furniture or headboards following the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty and up to 60 months from the delivery date:

  • Defects such as breakage or warping;
  • Cracking of solid wood components;
  • Broken hinges, handles, drawer and door runners;
  • Peeling of the finish on solid wood;
  • Lifting or peeling of the hide on leather furniture;
  • Defects to the glass or mirrored components;
  • Bending and breakage of metal components.

Cosmetic events in the form of damage to fabric or leather furniture, beds, mattresses, and headboards up to 60 months from the delivery date, resulting from spills and stains caused by:

  • Food and beverages;
  • Ink, paint, dye;
  • Bodily fluids;
  • Cosmetics;
  • Soap, shampoo;
  • Wax, wax polish, glue, super-glue;
  • Dye transfer from clothing, newspaper print;
  • Acids, bleaches, caustic and corrosive solutions;
  • Rips, tears, burns;
  • Scuffs, scratches;
  • Dents, chips, punctures;
  • Loss of decorative features, such as buttons.

Stains and other damage to cabinet furniture up to 60 months from the delivery date. This includes damage resulting from resulting from:

  • Water, liquid or heat marks from items;
  • Scuffs, dents, chips, scratches, breakage;
  • Scratches and chips of glass or mirrors;
  • Peeling, tarnishing of the paint, varnish or veneer.

Damage caused by pets up to 60 months from the delivery date (up to a maximum of 3 claims and subject to maximum liability provisions) resulting from:

  • Soiling;
  • Rips;
  • Tears;
  • Scratches;
  • Bites;
  • Punctures.
